The General Mills Company Picnic

| This last month, Earle Brown Heritage Center hosted the General Mills company picnic. With a family friendly environment, GM utilized the entire EBHC courtyard, bringing in carnival games, crafts, mini-golf, caricature artists, a DJ, face-painting, pony rides, race cars, a bounce house, an obstacle course and volleyball. |

While the event was a summer celebration of GM’s employees, it was also recognition of a job well done. As organizer Ruth noted, GM chose Earle Brown Heritage Center because of its "very versatile space," and continued that the picnic was "a highlight for the families in the Meals Division."
EBHC and GM agreed on a summer cookout menu for the 200 plus in attendance. With burgers, hot dogs and potato salad, and even featured a few desserts – Eskimo pies, popsicles, and chocolate-dipped strawberries – GM planned for everyone, even those with a sweet tooth.
